Guiding Light Missing Characters?

Harley and Gus are playing together on a different soap opera. That's weird. But anyway, I would like to see Jonathon come back, and I want the same guy that played his character to come back because I had such a crush on him. I would also like to see Shane and Mara come back. And whatever happened to Michelle and Danny? I miss all of these characters. GL has been my favorite soap since I was old enough to remember. I always watched it with my mom and mamaw when I got off the school bus around 3.
