Converting video to iPod compatible?!?!?

i convert videos to iPod compatible using AVS Video To iPod. buh everytym i do dat.. and i watch the video on my iPod it always comes ryt in the Centre of the screen "Non-Activated Version". it comes for sumtym den goes agen..comes den goes.. i tried if i cud activate it but den i hve to pay. do u knw any other dat i can use to convert moviews so dat i can watch it on my iPod? wat do u guys use?
