Will i be able to hear again properly?

yesterday i got a very strong electric shock when i waz talkin over the phone !!!! since then i am not able to hear ni thing from my left ear !!!!........i consulted the doctors !! but they said that my hearing organ is completely damaged n i am suffring from profound hearing loss!!! they said that there is no certainty that it will get cured or not i am feeling very depressed !!! plzz can ni 1 tell me as to how can i get cure as i waz b4 !! is there any remedy to it plzzz suggest
