How to hook up comp cvr 12 4 omh to kx.600.1 with out cutting in and out with gain more then half way up?

it work fine with gain under half ,but over its cuts in and out until i turn the radio down or when theres no b hitting i have my speakers at 2 omh what should i do put my speakers back at 4 omh and if so how please help me
